WHY WE WALK
Eye health is something we often take for granted. Vision impacts every aspect of our lives—from learning, social interactions, productivity at work or school, to participating in our favorite hobbies and activities like music, art, or sports. Vision loss robs people of their independence, mobility, and quality of life. More than 50,000 people lose their sight each year, yet half of all blindness can be prevented. When someone receives the gift of clear sight, they can be more productive and successful at work, at school, and/or in life. Simply put, when we see better, we live better.
COVID-19 EVENT UPDATE
The health and safety of our particpants, volunteers, and team is our top priorities. In this time of social distancing, you can join us virtually or particpate in the walk in-person where we will be following CDC social distancing and safety guidelines.
