Through our Sight in Schools Program, we aim to eliminate treatable vision problems for children in Northeast Florida—empowering them to succeed in school and beyond. We do this by bringing preventive vision screenings and mobile vision clinics directly to schools.

80% of all learning during a child’s first 12 years comes through the eyes
1 in 4 children have a vision problem significant enough to impact their learning
80% of vision issues identified in school-age children can be corrected with glasses

Mobile Vision Clinics

A child can be eager to learn, curious, and full of potential—but if they can’t see clearly, every moment in the classroom becomes a challenge. Too many go without the care they need due to barriers like cost, lack of insurance, transportation, or access to providers.

Our Mobile Vision Clinic brings eye care directly to where students need it most—right at school. We provide comprehensive eye exams and, for those who need them, prescription glasses, all at no cost to families.

Held at Title I schools across Northeast Florida, each clinic includes full exams by a licensed Optometrist. Students who need glasses choose their frames on-site, and our Optician verifies every prescription. Glasses are provided free of charge through our partnership with the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and delivered directly back to the students at school by our team.

By removing barriers, we’re helping kids see clearly—so they can focus, learn, and thrive in the classroom and beyond.
